course will focus on examining a network for security
vulnerabilites and then creating a firewall to protect
that network. All aspects of the course will be hands
on and practical application.

These
weekend seminars are provided for those who do not want
to take time off work. This course includes 8 hours
of instruction by our instructor
that will be completely interactive. Students will work
on laptops to perform exercises and experiment with Linux.
Students will be led through a complete course of instruction
that will provide a basis for Linux use in the home or
office.

Cancellation
Cancellation within 2 weeks will mean that the student
will forfeit 20% of the class price and cancellation within
1 week of the class will mean a 40% forfeit of fees paid.
Class
Size will be limited to 15. Food, housing and transportation
must be provided by each student.

This course is designed to be completely interactive.
Students will work on Pentium IV laptops and will perform
all of the tasks that are taught in the class. The
laptops will be networked to enable the experience of
setting up a computer on a network.
