Live Linux Training

The focus of our Linux Training is application of skills learned in the live classroom and during student study. Students train on live servers and have the support of certified instructors during the class. The pace of the training is determined by the student knowledge base and the instructor works with students on an individual basis training and answering questions. This means the the class time is flexible to any schedule and can work at anyone's pace.

Each of the skills students will learn will be required on LPI, Red Hat RHCE or Linux + Certifications. Though this is not a certification course the skills learned will help in certification.

Up to Date Training: Server and Desktop Training Updated for Ubuntu 8.04 and CentOS 5.

Linux Training Server to Learn on
Each student will be provided a real Linux server to work on during the class. This provides students with real skill development as they work through the class. Students will also be shown how to use VMWare Player and install a virtual machine so they learn how to build RAID and LVM on a virtual machine.
Almost 80 Interactive Labs
Students will have 80 labs to complete to develop Linux administration skills. These labs are step-by-step in completing the necessary tasks to become a Linux Administrator.
Unlimited Email Support

Self-taught Linux Training

The self-taught packages are complete packages that include a paper manual, Flash Videos and access to our Live Training Network. The paper manuals are lay-flat with spiral bindings. These will allow you to study Linux while you are on a computer. Each of the manuals contains Labs that are step-by-step for easy skill development. The movies that are on CD are demonstrations of the principles that are learned in the training in the manuals. These movies include voice so the student is able to hear an instructor explain the topic. In addition, students will have access to the Live Training Network in which they can attend 6 live classes each week for 3 months. That is 72 Free Classes with a Live Instructor! Server Management Lab Manual The Server Administration Lab Manual contains the necessary information to install, manage secure a server. Included are 64 Flash movies that illustrate the tasks. We offer Linux Desktop Training on CD. These are Flash Movies with voice so that you can learn as you see demonstrated on screen. Currently we provide training for Ubuntu 8.04 the Hardy Heron and gOS Linux version 2.
